Client: Chef Philippe Schimt

Chef Philippe Schmit, the self-proclaimed French cowboy, envisioned an industrial look for his two-story restaurant in the sleek new BLVD Place. Thus, the spare interior d├ęcor and somewhat rustic ambiance of the lounge.
The restaurant and lounge are organized around a two-story atrium featuring a steel staircase with the lounge located downstairs, the restaurant on the second level. The two are visually connected by a soaring wall punctuated with dozens of flickering candles (battery operated).
Focal point of the ground floor is the sleek bar at one end of the rectangular space that is lined with leather banquette seating. A kitchenette at the back allows for preparation of light fare for bar guests.
The second floor features not only the main dining room but also a second, intimate bar, a sophisticated private party room defined by a Venetian glass chandelier and two additional private rooms that can be opened through folding doors to enlarge the entire space. The dining room features both banquette and table seating.
